The AIMS Education Foundation supports preservice and inservice math and science teachers in pursuing continuing education to develop expertise in teaching.
AIMS will award 50% of a scholar’s tuition for students enrolled in a Mathematics Education or STEM Master’s Degree Program, or Supplemental Mathematics Education Program at Fresno Pacific University.
Awarding $5,000 scholarships to students enrolled in a Mathematics or Science Single-subject Teacher Education Credential program at Fresno Pacific University.
In an effort to support the ongoing professional growth of teachers, the AIMS Scholars Program will support 50% of a scholar’s tuition fees throughout the duration of their Mathematics Education graduate program, STEM graduate program, or Supplemental Mathematics Education program at Fresno Pacific University. The scholarship renews annually with a maximum of 30 units.
• Applicants must be admitted and enrolled in the Mathematics Education graduate program, STEM graduate program, or Supplemental Mathematics Education program at Fresno Pacific University. • The AIMS Scholars Program has a competitive selection process which requires an application. Meeting the basic qualifications does not guarantee acceptance.• Students receiving funding from the K-16 Collaborative and CVHEC are not eligible for the scholarship.• Students receiving aid from FUSD for the supplemental program will automatically receive the scholarship and do not need to submit an application. If you choose to continue into to master’s program, you will need to apply in order to continue receiving the AIMS Scholarship.

Scholarship applications are accepted year round.
Students must apply before the listed deadline dates in order to receive funding for the desired start semester or will be awarded for the following eligible semester.
Before you begin your application, please note that the final question on the application will require an essay based your selection of one of the three articles below. You will not be able to leave the application once you begin, so it is recommended that you complete your essay before beginning the application and be prepared simply to copy and paste your response into the application.
Choose one of the following articles and write a response relating the ideas/concepts/findings to your own philosophy of mathematics or STEM education.
Submit the completed AIMS Scholars Program online application for review. A subsequent interview may follow.
