Dr. Manjula Joseph Joins AIMS Board January 05, 2021 by Paul Reimer AIMS Education Foundation is pleased to welcome Dr. Manjula Joseph to the AIMS Board of Directors for a three-year term beginning January 2021. Dr. Joseph is Associate Professor of Mathematics Education at Fresno Pacific University and brings a research background in culturally responsive and equitable mathematics instruction. "I am particularly excited about the direction that AIMS is headed towards working for equity in STEM education and seeking opportunities to empower communities, ” Dr. Joseph stated after being invited by the AIMS Board. Dr. Joseph’s particular expertise in social justice mathematics pedagogy with a special emphasis on student self-empowerment and critical consciousness will provide valuable guidance and support to the ongoing work of AIMS.
